This is the only way to eat a cow!!

I made chocolate cake last night for the love of my life, he is a chocolate MONSTER!
Chris gets home about 11pm. and I had this waiting!! He loved it!
This is the only way I will eat a cow, if it is cut out of sugar sheets and put on a cake!!!!
Rich Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
6 tablespoons cocoa
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups water
3/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 pan with pam spray
Mix dry ingredients first. Once the mixture is even, mix in wet ingredients. Continue mixing until you obtain an even batter (no lumps). Bake for 40 minutes.
Buttercream Frosting
Ingredients
8 tablespoons earth balance
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
1 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 tablespoons soy milk
1lb plus 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
1 tablespoons agave
6 tbls. Cocoa

Directions:
1. Cream together the margarine and shortening.
2. Add vanilla and soy milk to the mixture. Combine.
3. Add in sifted powered sugar (make sure their are no lumps) 1/2 cup at a time.

Tonights dinner was thrown together at the last minute...
Mushroom alfredo with steamed broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots
and a salad of cucumbers with some red wine dressing

I have been craving chocolate cake... Yummy! Maybe Jordan and I can try out your recipe this weekend! And Mushroom Alfredo? Delicious! Throwing things together at the last minute seems to work out pretty well for you! :) Love you, Brandi!
