I have been making the same popcorn for the last 5 years....It is simple, it is delicious and meat eaters and vegans both love it.
I don't have a name for it, I just basically make it. My kids call it that popcorn stuff with the nutritional yeast and herbs thingy, my husband just eats it...
Popcorn stuff with Nutritional yeast and herbs thingy
Herbed Noochy Popcorn....
Pop enough popcorn to fill a 15 cup roaster
1/4 c. nutritional yeast powder
3 tbls. spike
1 tbls. dill weed
While the popcorn is popping, mix your herbs and nooch together. Directly after popcorn is finished popping add your seasonings and with your hands make sure the coating is on each popped piece. Or be lazy like me, and in a large paper sack, shake the popcorn with the seasonings.
This will feed about 8 people. If you are watching what you eat, this will feed an army and two naval destroyers....lol
You can adjust the seasonings to your liking, you can add different herbs.
I have made fennel rubbed popcorn, rosemary, or sage and cinnamon together,(not recommended...it was a thanksgiving thing)
I have even made a spicy teriyaki popcorn.
Try adding in peanuts or pecans, some dried fruit for fall, macadamia nuts and cinnamon!
Popcorn is the perfect canvas for cravings. There are very few calories, tons of flavor and it is filling!!!
While I only make popcorn on Saturday evenings when we watch movies, it is a guaranteed hit with family and friends!
