did anyone watch the superbowl this weekend? I am not much of a fan, unless the patriots are playing. i think i am more about the food that you get to eat for the superbowl anyway.
i have been noticing a startling change around me here in cattle country and i can say that i am pleased and amazed at the same time...
i have been running into alot of converts to the vegan diet and people i never thought would ever even listen about a vegan diet are watching all our horrifying shows, showng the atrocities of factory farming.
while i would like to say that it stopped them in their tracks and repulsed them (it didn't) or that it made them have an epiphany (it should have)..... they "are" making strides to be a better person and be more open to the facts that animals in this world are treated like mere sex slaves and are used as such daily greed for more food........
i would like to think that these people have watched me from afar and have seen the progression of meat eater to full on, radical animal rights advocate/vegan/hippy/enviromental spokes person/kind, caring me....and want to feel, what i feel knowing that i am harming nothing.
my hope is simple
they will have peace and harmony with our world,
try to make it better through recycling,
speak out against factory farms,
refuse to accept that people cannot give up meat,
speak out against using fossil fuels,
walk to work,
pack a lunch in a fabric bag
get rid of all the plastics in their home,
give up chemically deoderants,
find their inner self,
believe in change
be a spokesperson for health
and most of all love themselves so truly, that everything they touch will feel that love.
